The Green Stage is the final step in the Tennis Hot Shots pathway — designed for players aged 10 and up, typically 10–12 years old, who are ready to transition to full-court tennis. With faster balls and a focus on technique and match play, this stage helps kids develop the confidence and skill to move into yellow ball tennis and formal competition.

 

What Your Child Will Learn:

At this stage, players begin to experience tennis closer to the adult game while still using modified equipment to support their development:

• Green balls (75% compression — faster and higher bouncing than orange balls)

• Full-sized courts and standard nets

• Racquets sized 25–27 inches, ideal for older juniors

• Continued development of advanced strokes, match tactics, and court positioning

 

Preparing for Competitive Tennis:

The Green Stage introduces players to more structured competition and scoring systems, building mental resilience, consistency, and strategic awareness. It’s the perfect bridge between learning and competitive play.
