A water bottle (there is a tap available on court)

-
Hat and sunscreen (weather dependent)
Do I need my own racquet?

What if I can’t attend a lesson?
If your child is unwell, injured, or otherwise unable to attend, please notify the office as soon as possible—before the lesson starts at the latest. Providing notice allows you to access a make-up lesson at no extra charge during the term.
No-shows without notification will not be eligible for a make-up session.
What happens if it rains?
Lessons will be cancelled if courts are too wet to play.
Please check our Facebook or Instagram pages for real-time updates on weather cancellations.
Make-up sessions will be automatically credited to your account.
Can I join partway through the term?
Yes! You can start lessons at any time during the term. Fees will be pro-rated so you only pay for the remaining lessons.
How many children are in a group class?
Hot Shots classes typically have 4–6 children per coach, depending on the skill level of the session.
What happens during a lesson?
Lessons begin with a warm-up focusing on movement skills such as balance, coordination, speed, and agility.
We then move into structured tennis drills and finish with play-based activities related to match play.
Can family and friends watch lessons?
Absolutely! Parents and carers are welcome to stay and watch.
There’s plenty of seating available with great views of the courts.
For safety and child protection reasons, please do not enter the court during the lesson.
The clubhouse has a heater/air conditioner you are welcome to use—please close the sliding door while using it for energy efficiency.
Where do I pick up my child?
All children must be collected from within the tennis centre.
For safety reasons, please do not instruct your child to wait outside the facility.
